End of Term - by Chris Pullen
Hey Guys

I hope everyone who came to Whitby yesterday had a great time and enjoyed their fish and chips!

It looks like its already the end of term again and that means that unfortunately there are no more trips again until next term!

For everyone who is leaving us this year and graduating, from everyone at Outdoor Soc we wish you the best for the future!

To everyone who is here next year, come see us at Freshers Fair in Week 1 and re-new your membership so you can enjoy a great lineup of walks and trips we have for next term!

Also a quick reminder that there is an Outdoor Soc BBQ tonight 6pm at 1 Sussex Close, hope to see you there!

Cheers

We are a few people short so if you are planning on coming please buy your ticket in advance!

Week 9: Whitby - by Chris Pullen
Hey Guys

It looks like its that time of the year again for the last walk of the Term to Whitby! This is a seaside town on the North Yorkshire Moors which is famous for Britains Best Fish and Chips! It is also home to Whitby Abbey and numerous amounts of excellent gift shops. There are also some excellent beaches and other places to explore.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitby
http://www.visitwhitby.com/

Medium walkers will be free to spend most of the day exploring the town of Whitby to their hearts content!

Just to clarify, you can:
-Signup at Signups on Tuesday and Thursday 12-2pm at Vanbrugh Stalls (opposite Vbar) or
-Online from Thursday 2pm at http://www.yusu.org/event/2234/

If you can't do either of these you may turn up on the day, although there is no guarantee that seats will be available on the coach! If you are doing this please let me know before you turn up.

See you all on Sunday!

We are also in the process of deciding the walks and destinations to visit next term, if you have any suggestions for new walks or places you would like to go let us know.

Finally, if you have any awesome pictures and are willing to stick them up on the website or on posters at the freshers fair send them in, we will credit them to you!

This weeks walk to Flamborough - by Chris Pullen
Hi Guys,

If there was anyone intending to come on this weeks walk but couldnt make it to signups, there are tickets online at:
http://www.yusu.org/shopping/clubs-and-societies/

We are unfortunately about 10 people short to make the walk financially viable. If you were intending to come on the walk and couldnt make it to signups could you please pay for your ticket online before Friday 2pm so we can guarantee that the coach will be running. If we don't get enough people by 2pm Friday afternoon it will be a shame but we will have to cancel the coach.

If you are non-members you can still buy the ticket online but will have to pay £2 extra on the day.

Thanks
Chris Pullen
